All,
I was wondering if anyone has a source for parts for the Force 10 propane oven. Specifically, I am trying to replace the two burner tops (diffusers) on the grill top. They are 2.25 inches and 3.75 inches in diameter.
Thanks,
Tom

Re: Force 10 Cooktop
Tom,
If you need to replace the burner caps because they don't produce a steady flame from all the holes, then you may consider cleaning them first. I've used a small object, like a paper clip to open up the holes. But the Force 10 website has a FAQ page giving easy care & maintenance instructions - http://www.force10.com/faqs.html
I can't remember the make-up of the entire piece, but if they are somewhat rusty, they could probably be sanded and repainted with the same black high-temp paint used for gas grills.
If you still need to replace them or obtain other parts, West Marine or Boaters World are probably the easiest chandlaries to order from. The Force 10 website also has a distributor list section just in case.

Re: Force 10 Cooktop
All,
Just an update....
According to the Force 10 Company, the old style stove top burner caps are no longer available. Apparently there was some sort of fire at the company that makes them (in France) and as such they are no longer being sold. The only other option is to get the burner upgrade kit ($75 - $100 depending on size) and switch to the new style bolt on caps.
Regards,
Tom

Re: Force 10 Cooktop
Did Force 10 give any information as to which year the change in style was made?

Chris,
No they did not, but if your stove has drop in metal top caps you have the older style (like me). The new style are polished, stainless steel, very thin, and they have two screw holding them on. Hope this helps.
