Years ago (in MV34, hull 012 the Stray Cat still berthed in Portland Oregon), I restored the functionality of the sliding door latch which had torn out the threads that mounted it to the door frame by cutting in a stainless steel nut and with some clever epoxy work had the door latching away as before. Today it failed again, breaking away some of the aluminum alloy frame plates for the female latch part. Complexifies an additional similar repair because much more frame material is gone.
James or ???, who can I contact for parts for the sliding door, in hopes that I don't have to remake the wheel here.
I once knew who to buy another door key from, some outfit in Florida I recall, but that was then...

Re: Sliding Door Latch
I paid big bucks for several keys for Vita Bella, then discovered that my local "high end" lock/ key store in San Mateo Ca has the blanks for the darn key. I now get them made for a couple of bucks each.

You are welcome Gary..
Also, look on PDQ36.com where I posted the schematics for the door and how to stop leaks.
