Arch on PDQ 36 LRC
Arch on PDQ 36 LRC
We're planning on installing an arch on our 1998 vintage LRC to provide a platform for navigation lights and radar (for when we temporarily remove the mast whgile doing the Great Loop), 2+ additional solar panels. The dinghy would continue to be hung from the existing davits. Has anyone done such a thing? Any pictures/plans? Thanks for the help. Jan & Bob

Arch
We had an arch built in Deltaville, VA, designed for the PDQ (we have an LRC). Len Scharf, former owner of ANAGYRI knows the gentleman who built it: Conway Boat Building 804-693-4518

Cost
I think it was about $3600, but that was 3 years ago, so I'm sure the costs have gone up. (Folks in Annapolis wanted over $8000 at that time). Call Mr. Conway, I'm sure he will give you a quote.
