Mast Height
Anyone know the height off the water for a standard 32? Can we fit under 55 foot bridges?? Roger Wood/Stepping Stone #012
you might try contacting the factory as well -- they have been very supportive and may have a record of which mast they installed. Of course you won't know for sure, as it may have been modified.
How about tieing a 50 foot or 100 foot measuring tape to the halyard and actually measuring it, allowing an estimate for the distance above the halyard stop? (Make sure the halyard is caredully secured to the tape and that it won't break -- otherwise you'd have to climb the mast to retrieve it.)
(Also -- don't forget to add in the height from the water to the base of the mast.)

PDQ32 Mast Height
The early models were made with a shorter mast giving an overall height of 45 feet. Around 1997 they added 4 feet to the mast and started using the name Altair - height over water is 49 feet.

Owner's Manual
Anyone have a softcopy of the 32 Owner's Manual? Seems like a lot of this info resides in this doc (for various iterations). I know Sam Densler has one on his site for the 36 ... mine is a bit tattered and missing pages - so would be great to reproduce it.

If you do find one, send me a copy and I will post it on the http://www.pdq36.com site.
Pierre, I had Brian and Lynn Munroe aboard Lady of the Lake this past weekend. They are very interested in purchasing a PDQ 32. I hope you don't mind, I gave them your email since you are a good spokesman for the 32.
One more thing, I just installed my new Easy Furl from Indy Canvas. Looks and works great, thanks for the tip!
