Autopilot replacement

Post by Ed Ellis »

Has anyone tried a different brand autopilot than the ones made by Raytheon? Over the years and several boats, I've had to replace control heads so many times I've lost track. Sick of'm.

I have a Simrad WP30 Wheelpilot. It is approx. 7 years old and I've had it serviced only once to preemptively replace the drive belt ($100 service).
