I moved Peace over the Memorial Day weekend back to home port. We went direct to Block Island from Atlantic Yacht Basin in Chesapeake, VA. We went offshore towards Block Island, through the Cape Cod Canal with an overnite stay at Provincetown. The trip took exactly 5 days to the hour. Just south of BI we looked astern to check our trolling rig and saw a Bull shark cruising by. I'd guess he was about 12'. His dorsal fin looked like a black sail on the horizon! Within minutes a Amberjack took the bait just in time to provide us with the evening meal. It doesn't get any better than this! Crossing from Provincetown to Rockland we had 25kt winds on the stern quarter with 5-7' seas with occasional larger rollers. They sounded just like a subway train coming into the station. We were on autopilot the entire trip. Top speed was 15.4 kts surfing down the waves the last nite.
