Faucet mfg question

Post by Bacchagato »

Does anyone know what brand of faucet this is? Closest I can find is a WHALE TB-4115, but the spigot is different.

The head faucet is mounted on the counter, galley is wall-mount. I'm trying to find replacement parts but can't find a mfg name on either faucet.
Thanks all!

It is made by Scandvik - http://www.scandvik.com/. The specific model is in the Folding Ceramic Family, Model #10476 or 10477 - http://www.scandvik.com/index.cfm/metho ... ID/100.htm

Not sure about the originals, but there was enough room in the head to replace (using existing holes) with a nice unit from Home Depot.

Interesting...I've been frustrated because our faucet neck doesn't extend out far enough for comfortable use, i.e. washing hands means you are rubbing against the side of the bowl. Scandvik doesn't have a suitable (longer) neck replacement, meaning we'd have to replace the entire unit.

Roger, which product did you find at Home Depot to match? Is it cosmetically holding up? Picture?

What about something like this:

http://www.scandvik.com/index.cfm/metho ... /ID/45.htm

Although we use one like this:

http://www.scandvik.com/index.cfm/metho ... ID/694.htm

so we can have the shower head and also direct fresh water to the head when we want to flush with fresh water.

The style was "swan" and it was either Home Depot or Lowes. After a few years, the chrome is flawless.... Just take your hole placement measurements (which seems to be about standard) and look for a model that has adequate faucet length.

We ended up replacing ours with the original Scandvik unit - available through a Scandvik vendor by special order (we used Fawcetts in Annaoplis). There were a number of newer options that would retrofit. The previous owners replaced the Scandvik faucet with a sink sprayer unit with a plastic flex hose - the smell was horrible (not sure how old it was). We purchased the SS\brass flex hose and now the unit works well and also slides in an out without any issues. For a new hose and faucet was about $125.00 through Fawcetts.
