Starting Battery for 9.9s?

My 2002(?) Pow-R-Surge model 24M5 starting battery has finally died after 6 years of service cranking our 9.9s. I was unable to find a cross reference for it on the net. The top is sealed but I cannot determine if it is an AGM, No Maintenance Lead Acid, or Gel. We like the fact that it lasted this long in such an inconvenient and harsh location in an exposed engine compartment and we’d like another just like it. Anyone know who makes this model? Ray

We own a Mazda Miata with a small (they are in between the size of a regular car battery and a motorcycle battery) AGM battery. The Westco battery in it has lasted over 8 years and still cranking strong. We replaced our 9.9 starting battery with this Miata AGM and it has worked out very well on Cat Tales for the past 1.5 years. They are pricey, but we installed it because it is very reliable and will probably last at least 10 years.
