Gas line pass-through from propane locker - fitting type?

What are the fitting that the gas lines pass through, between the propane locker and the hull? I am installing a gas heater and need to add one. They look like large liquid-tight cord grip fittings, but generally those are not made for thick walls. How thick is the wall, hull and locker combined (PDQ 32)?

Hey Thinwater, the fittings are called vapour tight fittings. You should be able to pick them up thru West Marine. They usually fit up to a 3/8" bulkhead. If its more try glueing it in with some 5200. This would be a good time to check that the locker drain is not plugged. James

I went to West Marine and they did not know! We hunted the catalog. Thanks.

I sanded and painted my tanks, oiled up the regulator and solenoid, hosed out the salt, and checked the drain. All good things.
