Eric,

I could swear that I saw Bacchagato this morning in a slip at the Gangplank Marina - is the hailing port Anchorage AK? I noticed the PDQ in the slip and was drawn to the way the rear steps were compared to our model - the bottom steps being only a slight indents and not a full step (to collect algae like ours, under water much of the time).

Just checking,

Mike

Hi Mike;

It might be. According to the post it is/was in Baltimore. Perhaps things are looking up for Morgan and the adventure continues...

We are very enthusiastic new owners and are very happy to have joined the forum. We snatched Bacchagato up from Morgan as fast as we could, and now have our 31' Prout up for sail in Baltimore (if anybody knows anybody that wants to get into a great little cruising cat for just a little over 50K, it's on Yachtworld).

We did move Bacchagato to The Gangplank in DC during that record-breaking rainfall we had at the end of Sept./beginning of Oct, and learned more about sailing in 5 days than in the entire 5 years previous. Boy did our PDQ handle well. We had been living on an old houseboat during the week (we called it our floating FEMA trailer) to avoid the commute from our house in Baltimore and are now very pleased to be living on Bacchagato and enjoying the heck out of it.

Joneses,

We'll have to meet for a beverage one evening, we're technically your neighbors four docks towards the fish market on C Dock at Capital (CYC), we know the "Plank" very well having spent over 15 years there (and 3 management companies). II the Max is hidden between a 60' Hatteras and an 45' Ocean power cruiser. We have two westies, so if you see us on the seawall just say hi...
