Waste tank
Hi all, I have a few questions regarding the waste holding tank. If I'm not mistaken the tank capacity is 35 gallons. Are there any indicators of when the tank is nearing full or has become full other than possible smell? If I wanted to manually pump overboard and of course was within the legal dumping limits, would the waste come out the hole on the bottom of the aft starboard hull or does it come out the hole near the toe rail on the side of the hull? This seems to be the vent tube but when we pump the handle on the head waste comes out of it. Any tips would be appreciated, Jim
Re: Waste tank
The hole on the side of the hull is indeed a vent.
If waste is coming out of it when you pump the head, then the tank is full!
Best to get to a pump out station......
The macerator pump will send waste out the botom thru hull once you set the valves to their corrrect positions.
