Knee Chest and Elbow Savers
Knee Chest and Elbow Savers
Here is a great pad to lean on while working on the engines of any PDQ model or leaning through a hatch. Get one of those pool noodles at the Dollar General Store and cut a slit half way through lengthwise in one side to the core of the noodle. Box cutter works great for this. Then cut the length you need and snap it over the edge to lean on. It floats when dropped over board too. Also those tough pieces of dense foam from old and weary type IV cushions work great for knee pads. Ray

Good tip!
Also:
* I prefer volleyball knee pads
* Cafeteria tray for parts
* Old towel for gelcoat scratch protection and additional padding
* Hemostats for reaching tough places and grabbing nuts and washers before they are dropped

Here's my favorite:
WATER PROOF KNEE PADS (Item #28612, Taylor Gifts)
I have three pairs. They are one of my best purchases, and I use them all the time.
