Black goo oozing around ignition key holes

Post by Lady of the Lake »

Anyone else experiencing the ignition key sockets turing in to black goo? The key still fits in but the outside has turned sticky like tar. It gets all over everything. Can these be replaced or are they integral to the ignition switch? Anyone figured out how to keep this from happening?

Thanks,
Sam and Gina

Yes, both sockets. Ever seen such a thing? It is nasty, looks like they have melted.
